Welcome to the world of Hypnotherapy!
What is hypnosis?
Most people have been under hypnosis at one point or another in their life without even knowing. Hypnosis is basically a trance like state. Trance is a natural phenomenon which we often experience….
Have you ever read a good book or been so absorbed in a TV show or movie and forgotten everything else around you? Or maybe you have experienced driving the car and wondered how you got to your destination. Mediation, daydreaming or even seeing an advertisement and going to purchase that product are all forms of hypnosis.
Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation promoting inner awareness. When you fall asleep at night you pass through a hypnotic state. It is a very pleasant and enjoyable state of being.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a holistic approach where the hypnotherapist guides you with your consent into a deep state of relaxation (hypnosis) in a private setting.
Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation called trance. This state is a consent state whereby the person allows themselves to enter, during this state of conscious awareness the mind relaxes, lowering its guard by minimising interference from the judgemental and often critical conscious mind and the hypnotherapist is able to communicate directly to the subconscious mind. It is here that the subconscious mind controls our habits. It is also the storehouse of a person’s total experiences, the memory of everything that ever happened to them is stored in their subconscious mind. During hypnosis long forgotten incidents which still affect the person without them knowing why can be bought back to their conscious awareness resulting in the symptoms disappearing.
The client will often present with an array of issues and by clearing away the emotional blockages and releasing thoughts and behaviours from the past balance is restored and the client is able to respond and react in a manner that better serves them. It is a safe environment whereby the hypnotherapist works collaboratively with the client to gain their desired outcomes. It is an enlightening journey that offers growth and results in improved self-esteem plus so much more.
Hypnotherapy treats the cause rather than the symptoms of the issue.
How do I know if I need Hypnotherapy?
Often in our lives we are most comfortable when we feel a sense of freedom, balanced, and grounded. When we have these feelings our thoughts, beliefs and behaviours support them. This allows us to be our true self, confident, balanced and in control of our behaviour and emotions.
Some of you may struggle to remember a time when you felt like that; others have let it slip away somehow with the stress of our busy lives. The good news is that whatever the reason, you can return to that state of balance, or even find it for the very first time.
* Ask yourself if you are feeling out of balance?
* Are you suffering emotionally or physically?
* Do you view yourself differently to how you would like to?
* Are the negative things you tell yourself holding you back?
* Would you value being able to talk to someone about your issues confidentially?
* Can you imagine what it would be like to be free of your concerns once and for all?
* Can you imagine what it would be like to be free of your concerns once and for all?
If you have answered yes to any of these questions then this is the therapy for you!
